I work as the Senior photographer for the National Monuments Service in Ireland. I record state owned Archaeology, Architecture and Landscape. I have a particular interest in the Islands off the west coast of Ireland and the effect that climate change is having on these islands and our heritage as a whole.
I also produce my own work in my own time with an on going interest in the development of the photographic practice and man altered landscape.
I received a Masters in Photography from London Met in 2013 for my project 'Digital Citizen' and long before a career in photography I worked as a Structural Engineer.
My work has been described as distinct, precise, concrete, striking, memorable and often stark.
I am currently researching a project on the subject of Non-place and Concrete material.
